Throwback Thursday clip and trailer of the week.

Every week on a Thursday this blog will have a Throwback Thursday clip of the week. It will feature a Horror host clip or full show. There will also be a old horror or Sci-fi movie trailer too each week as part of Throwback Thursday.

The Horror Host clip of the week is
Dr. Shock The Rope Trick:

Let me give you a brief overview of Dr. Shock:

Dr. Shock ( Real name: Joseph Zawislak)
Shows: Scream-in (1969 - 1972), Mad Theater and Horror Theater (1969 - 1979)
Format of the show:
There would either be one or a double features of films. And in between movie breaks Dr. Shock would do skits and magic trips to entertain the viewers.
  • The make-up that he wore was modeled after Zacherley. He even asked Zacharley's permission.
  • He filled the spot for Philadelphia Horror Host when Roland left aka Zacharley.
  • He had a character on the show called "Bubbles", which he claimed to be his granddaughter but it was actually his real daughter. He would use family to play different characters on the shows run.
This Horror Host will look at more in-depth at a later time.

The old movie trailer of the week is

When I was a kid this was one of my favorite Godzilla movies. At first it scared me but then I got over it and I was amazed by effects of the film. It was a great return for Godzilla and in my top ten for Godzilla movies.
