Godzilla Turned 61 this week.

In 1954, a radioactive terror would rise from the sea. The terror would leave a trail of destruction through out Japan. All the military's weapons were defenseless against the terror. Even Raymond Burr was defenseless against him. The Terror would gain the name of Godzilla. Godzilla would go on to reign as the King of the Monsters for 61 years now. He had many contenders that tried to dethrone the king but he continues wear the crown. He has been seen as hero, terror, and just hilarious at times. Who knew a man in suit could bring joy to people around the world and help to spawn one of the longest franchises in history. It looks like his legend will continue thanks to TOHO and Legendary continuing to make the movies. Happy Birthday Big G. Looking forward for him to stomp to the theaters again.
